ross' view is by far the most common one across Sunshine.

Oh yeah is the response. Believe it when we see it. the ALP has lost the community's trust and respect even though most still vote for them. its sad to see such a down trodden powerless and defeated group of people.

Has Brimbank Council accepted the State government's offer of $25000 to do a feasibility study into replacing the outdoor 50M.

A study that looks at:

1. where best to install the 25M heated outdoor pool at Sunshine Swim & Leisure Centre

2. the impacts, risks, benefits, costs, possibility of saltwater or ozone water treatment options so that many disabled and skin sensitive people in our community can have a swim

3. masterplanning the site to cater for the outdoor 50M's proper replacement (1000m2 water space) with
- a 10 lane x 25M pool and
- other leisure water as promised to the Mothers Group by Henry Barlow at the Public Meeting (the Nth Melb model) and others previously

4. identifying the costs associated with
- the 25M pool installation and
- other leisure water needed to deliver the promised Nth Melb model or suitable equivalent (State govt offer)

5. Identifying proosed cost sharing arrangements between State government and Brimbank Council

6. a timetable for implementation

Council is doing nothing. This deal is all tactics once again so we dont protest diuring the elections.

I like the plan of the pool rallies at Cairnlea reserve and at Bigss st.

Remember last year Council received a petition from nearly all houses in Cairnlea who object to Albion Turk Gucu /Rovers Soccer Club move to Cairnlea.

The council approved because the land is going to the Mayor Natalies fathers soccer club and the other councilor Capar who is also in the Turk association with the mayor's father brought a petition with only signatures from 4 houses in cairnlea supporting Turk Gucu soccer club to take the land away from the community for soccer only.

And then the council voted to give the mayors father and brothers soccer club nearly 1 million dollars and the land just like that.

You see the Brimbank council is corrupt and that is why they will not let Sunshine have the free swimming pool.

The pool rally at Cairnlea oval to show the corruptiuon in the Labor councillors must go ahead before the state election and also again before the federal election next year because justen madden and bill shorten and hakki sulyman are all together on these deals.

Mark my words - Council will reject offered 25m pool.

Mayor natalie suleyman is quoted in the local papers as saying council will accept the $ 25 g's to do the study but has not decided to accept the pool offer yet nor will they until after the study.

I have it on good authority council has no intentions of accepting the pool and will reject it on some obscure ground. State government will then say they will use the extra panels as back up for the three 50m pools promised to other councils.

There is no 25m pool.

Sorry to be the spoil sport. You read it here first.
